3 years since Christmas From The Heart + David has served on his mission for 200 days!

3 years ago today, David's Christmas album Christmas From The Heart was released!

What's your favorite song from CFTH? Let us know in the comments! Mine would have to be "Melodies of Christmas" :)

I remember seeing David in Boston on his Christmas From The Heart tour and loved seeing "Melodies of Christmas" live!!

Another one I loved that night that is on CFTH was David's encore of "O Holy Night." So moving.

And in other news, David has been serving on his mission for 200 days! Congrats Elder Archuleta! Less than a year and a half to go!

CFTH randomness!

Concerts and Curtains' Flickr:
Rent What? Inc. David Archuleta Concert Drapery with LED Starlights and Ornaments

A Butch Allen stage design for the David Archuleta Christmas Tour, with gold velourette legs, swags and dressing elements. The drapery was all flame retardant and designed to be concert and tour friendly.

The central elements of the stage were FR stretch Cambio! christmas trees which assembled onto pipe and base stands.

Overhead were giant christmas ornaments, stage props which were very effective in completing the seasonal design.

The upstage wall was a combination of bright white IFR voile with 100% pleasted fullness for a traditional stage drapery scene. Hidden behind the biparting traveler track were 25'h LED starlight drapes. Standard 110v - non DMX adressible. The effect that of a christmas light scene.

This is a combination of purchased and rented elements.

A Butch Allen stage design for the David Archuleta Christmas Tour, with gold velourette legs, swags and dressing elements. The drapery was all flame retardant and designed to be concert and tour friendly.

Current LED techology found embedded into a fully lined stage backdrop. Costructed from durable but discreet polyester and fully lined, these drapes are rented to clients for special events, theatre productions, concerts and film/TV shoots.

This low-tech LED drape is not DMX adressible - but it is ready to go pulg-and-play 110v.

"incredible vocal performance" in Celtic Christmas!

She gets a little help during the one-hour special from guests David Archuleta, who stops by to duet on “Silent Night” and an impressive “Pat-a-Pan,” as featured on his own holiday set “Christmas From the Heart.” Country singer Mark Wills appears to duet on “Little Drummer Boy,” and former Celtic Woman member Meav joins on “O Holy Night” and “Do You Hear What I Hear?”

As a whole, “Orla Fallon’s Celtic Christmas” is still recommended as a perfect backdrop DVD for the holiday season, offering a stunning-looking Fallon performing both traditional and non-traditional Christmas fare with friends, including an incredible vocal performance from Archuleta. Just remember you probably won’t need that companion CD as well for the studio versions.

It’s always nice to wake up to a great quote from the one and only David Archuleta! Here it is straight from the stars Twitter account:

"I love how spicy food clears you up and makes you feel refreshed. Well after burning your mouth and making you teary-eyed haha."

We’ve been listening to David Archuleta’s album “Christmas From The Heart” to get in the holiday spirit. Let us know if you’ve been doing the same!
