What the randomness?

I've compiled a post of randomness I've found throughout this week.

Glad Christmas Tidings is #11 in Holiday Albums and #12 in Classical Albums:

David Archuleta to perform Christmas show at BPAC
BLACKFOOT — Local David Archuleta fans are getting an early Christmas gift this year—the popular singer will be making a stop at the Blackfoot Performing Arts Center Dec. 9 as part of his much-anticipated "My Kind of Christmas Tour."
Tickets go on sale Saturday and are $27.50 plus a $3.50 service fee. Tickets will be on sale at the BPAC from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday. Tickets can also be purchased beginning at 10 a.m. by calling 317-5508 or online at www.blackfootpac.com. All seats are reserved.
Tickets can be mailed out or picked up at the Blackfoot Performing Arts Center box office the night of the concert. The show will begin at 8 p.m. and doors to the theater will open at 7 p.m.
Susan Mann, BPAC programming director, said David Archuleta is a huge get for Blackfoot and tickets will likely sell out quickly.
Archuleta's show will feature epic orchestral arrangements of both traditional holiday and familiar classics, as well as an assortment of his own, melodic pop favorites. The tour promises to showcase more of his unique musicality and vocal prowess that his fans have come to love.
David Archuleta, who is from Sandy, Utah, rose to fame in 2008 on season 7 of American Idol, where he finished second. His debut self-titled album was released in 2008 and a follow-up album, "The Other Side of Down," was released in 2010. In 2009 he released "Christmas from the Heart" and is featured on The Mormon Tabernacle Choir's holiday album "Glad Christmas Tidings," released last month.
He has toured extensively across the United States, United Kingdom and Asia. He has previously performed in both Pocatello and Idaho Falls.

Orla Fallon mentions David in an interview on EdmondsPatch:
“I never imagined in a million years,” says Fallon on her website, “that I would have been seen on public television over 14,000 times, have been a part of group that has sold more than four million CDs and DVDs, and now as a new solo artist, being on stage with the likes of The Dubliners and the amazing David Archuleta from American Idol. And recording with Grammy Award winners Vince Gill and Moya Brennan, all within the same year.”

Hot Chelle Rae mentions David in interview on Leigh Valley Music:
OK, tell me about it. What’s it going to be like, how’s it going to differ from your previous music? What are we going to see in the album?

“We wrote with Eman [Pennsylvania-born hit producer Emanuel Kiriakou who has worked with Gomez, David Archuleta, Whitney Houston and the New Kids on the Block/Backstreet Boys collaboration] and Evan Bogart and Lindy Robbins, who wrote ‘Tonight Tonight’ with us for a lot of songs. Then worked with this guy named Andrew Goldstein for a bunch of them. And then we’ve kind of like been putting our fun into music [Laughs].”

Nashua Telegraph:
Even Sean Kingston, a famous pop/reggae artist, discovered Dan Feehan’s vocals through a music video on YouTube, which opened the door for Dan to work with Kingston’s writer, K-Jay, and do demos for pop singer David Archuleta.
