Choir Marks One Year on YouTube-5 Million Views

Take a bow Mormon Tabernacle Choir! The Choir's YouTube channel is celebrating its one-year anniversary. Since its spectacular launch Tuesday, October 30, 2012, in the Little Theater of the Conference Center, the channel has logged 5 million views. And that number is accelerating at a rapid clip and we're counting.

Viewers are drawn to the channel for broadcasts of Music and the Spoken Word, for popular uploads of guest artists like Alfie Boe singing "Bring Him Home" and David Archuleta performing "Silent Night," for the Choir's spectacular recording of "Come, Thou Fount of Every Blessing," and other recent Choir videos-to name just a few of the highlights. Content changes continually.

The channel marked its first million in views on YouTube in less than three months. Subscribers to by country reach from the United States at number 1, to Brazil, the Philippines, Russia, Malaysia, and other nations across the world.
