Live blogging schedule for the MKOC Tour!

Thanks Tiff for this cool banner!

Hey all! So usually for tours and shows, we live blog every one of them. Well this time around for the MKOC Tour, we're doing something a little different. SBA has teamed up with Absolute Archies and All Things Archies for live blogging all the shows on the tour. With all of our busy schedules, we realized that we can't all live blog every show of this tour, so we're teaming up! Basically what this means is, all three sites won't be posting live blogs for every show, each site is taking turns! Below is a schedule Allie of All Things Archie, Tiff from here and Absolute Archies and I made up, which shows which blogger from which site will be live blogging which show of the tour:

12/1- Westbury, NY- On Absolute Archies (Tiffany, Sheila)

12/2- Irving, NY - On All Things Archie (Jessica, Tiffany)

12/3- Verona, NY- On Something 'Bout Archie (Ashley, Tiffany, Melissa)

12/4 Strousburg, PA- On ATA (Allie)

12/8- Boise, ID- On ATA (Katrina, Tiffany)

12/9- Blackfoot, ID- On AA (Tiffany, Melissa)

12/10- Cedar City, UT- On SBA (Ashley, Melissa)

12/13- Santa Rosa-On ATA (Allie, Katrina, Theresa)

12/14- Los Angeles, CA- On AA (Sheila, Sarah)

12/16- Ventura, CA- On SBA (Katrina, Ashley)

12/17- Anaheim, CA- On SBA (Ashley)

12/19- Salt Lake City, UT- On ATA (Allie, Katrina, Reagan)

12/21- Beaver Creek, CO- On SBA (Katrina, Melissa, Ashley)

So be sure to report to those sites listed for a live blog of each show! And we'll all be sure to tweet reminders so everyone knows where to go for the live blogs!

Saturday, December 17th, 4pm ET
Friday, December 23th, 9pm ET
Saturday, December 24th, 9:30pm ET

Recorded live in the spectacular 21,000-seat Conference Center in Salt Lake City, this remarkable event combines elegant dancing, masterful musical performances and storytelling. Complete with Yuletide favorites such as “Silent Night” and “Joy to the World,” the memorable performance also includes unique music such as “Los pastores a belén,” sung by David Archuleta completely in Spanish, Michael York’s touching tale about the humble beginnings of the Mormon Tabernacle Choir, together with moving organ, choir and orchestra performances.

And some Edith buzz:

Mindful Of Music:

David Archuleta surprises his #1 fan
This morning, David Archuleta stopped by Studio 5 in Utah where he surprised his #1 fan, Edith. Edith turns 97 tomorrow and she shows just how much she loves David, with pictures on her walls and going to numerous concerts, but has yet to meet her favorite singer. But that all changed this morning when David surprised Edith with balloons and a special birthday gift - his Christmas CD and DVD with the Mormon Tabernacle Choir! You can watch the segment below:

Edith says that David is an inspiration, but I think Edith is an inspiration for being such a dedicated fan even at the age of 97. Proves that David's music really does touch people of all ages.

Pop City Life:

David Archuleta Surprises Edith For Her 97th Birthday

This is so sweet! David Archuleta surprised a superfan this morning. Edith was on Studio 5 this morning celebrating her 97th birthday when David came out with balloons to surprise her. Can I mention that my birthday is this weekend? Can I have a balloon David?

And Hannah Mcialwain mentions David in an interview with Pop City Life:

PCL: Fans first caught a glimpse of you on MTV's Made where you wanted to become a rapper named Rouge. We definitely watched that episode when it originally aired after it got a glowing review from David Archuleta. Since his fans make up a large part of our audience, we have to ask, how did you two become friends? Do you guys still talk? We'd love to see a collab happen one day!

Hannah: I spent a lot of my childhood in Murray, Utah and David and I know each other from school. He was SO shy back then! But always really sweet and caring. We haven’t spoken in years, but maybe a collaboration could be a possibility..

Just added: Pandora Unforgettable Holiday Moments on Ice sneak peek!

Also some buzz:

Though she is clearly comfortable in her own skin to give up the spotlight to the other stars on the bill -- it’s fun to see the young girls squeal in their seats when Archuleta comes from the side of the stage for his “Silent Night” duet -- but Fallon owns the stage with her supple harp solo that ushered him onstage in the first place.
