Glad Christmas Tidings Launch, A Success!
The holiday season was ushered in by true Christmas spirit, with the official grand album launch of Glad Christmas Tidings, featuring David Archuleta. Hundreds of fans gathered at David Archuleta Christmas headquarters, in Astrovision Shangri-la, to celebrate the release of one of the most eagerly anticipated holiday albums, this season.

The launch featured a photobooth, complete with David Archuleta standees and backdrops, with fans lining up to have their pictures taken in varying degrees of fun and wackiness. Also, a giant Christmas card was unveiled, where fans wrote holiday messages to their much-loved idol. Fans were also treated to fun- filled games, with prizes including signed albums, life-size standees, mini-standees, iron-on t-shirt transfers, notebooks, keychains, Santa hats and other David Archuleta memorabilia.

Pop music sensation David Archuleta with The Mormon Tabernacle Choir released a holiday album – Glad Christmas Tidings. The 12-track album includes live recordings from the Choir’s 2010 Christmas concert from Temple Square, a musical spectacle that was seen by more than 80,000 concertgoers last year. The collaboration was a dream come true for Archuleta, who was raised listening to the Choir from a very young age. Glad Christmas Tidings is a full-scale production featuring world-class musicians, soloists, dancers, narrators, and music that leaves viewers in awe year after year. David's clear and powerful vocals paired with the Choir's classic Christmas sound makes this album a must-have for any Christmas collection.
