SPOTTED: American Idol's David Archuleta

We bumped into American Idol finalist David Archuleta at Zatinya last night -- and we're totally crushing on him.

We'd tell you where he's staying, but then we'd have to tape your mouth shut 'til he leaves.

So we won't.

What we can tell you is that he is in town for the "Eunice Kennedy Shriver Challenge," which is an event benefiting Special Olympics and Best Buddies International. David will perform at the event.

HAVE YOU BOUGHT David’s new album yet?

JustJaredJr.

Former American Idol contestant, David Archuleta just released a new single all about the ‘ups and downs’ of love. That song is called “Elevator.” It is the second single from David’s second studio album (third including his holiday release, Christmas From The Heart) The Other Side Of Down which was released on October 5th. Like most of the songs on the album, this is one of the songs that David had a hand in co-writing. He did so by teaming up with Shelly Peiken, best known for her work on Christina Aguilera’s “What A Girl Wants” and “Come On Over” as well as “Turn The Page” by Aaliyah, and producer Mike Krompass.
