David Archuleta treats his fans with a bit of Kanye West's Hey Mama in his latest video blog, posted Tuesday. Noting that Mother's Day is just around the corner, he says, "Show your mom some extra TLC this Sunday, and even if you're not with your mom, just remember what she has done for you."

David also talks about appearing at Invisible Children's recent Break the Silence event in Nashville and attending the ASCAP Expo in Los Angeles.

David Archuleta is big on filming vlogs every now and then. So it makes sense that he has just released a new one. This time it is about Mother’s Day. You will find it at the bottom of this post.
I am loving the fact that he has recorded a shout out of sorts for mothers. That is so sweet of him, but it likely didn’t hurt that many of his American Idol fans were mothers. However, on the other hand he may just want to remind everyone that Mother’s Day is this upcoming Sunday.
What do you think of his most recent vlog? Do you find him silly for recording them or are thrilled that he does? I think his fans enjoy them, and he does make them entertaining. I also love the fact that he always seem so happy in them. Sometimes you need to see a cheery person in order for yourself to be cheery. When that is the case, his videos do a great service.

Little tidbit from an old interview + Paperback COS available Tuesday!

From Behance.net:

Interviewing David Archuleta was very interesting. He was camera shy! I couldn't believe it. It took me eight minutes to get him to sing for the camera. But after all is said and done, I left that interview knowing that some celebrities like Archuleta are humble, down to earth people.

And speaking of COS, the paperback version is available Tuesday! You can pre-order it on Amazon!

Paperback Chords of Strength!

I went on Barnes And Noble's site and searched David and this came up:

I guess this is the paperback cover? Because the original COS doesn't have "New York Times Bestseller" on it. The paperback is available May 3rd, and you can pre-order the paperback HERE!
