5 years since the Season 7 American Idol Tour kicked off!
Can you believe it's been over 5 years since American Idol Season 7? Today marks 5 years since the tour kicked off in Glendale, AZ! Who was there? Or which tour stop did you go to? Share your stories, pictures and videos with us all summer long for us to post!

I was at the Philly show. The show was on my fiance's birthday and was not something he would want to do on his birthday. So I treated him to special extra comfy box seats in a section w/ its own waitresses and bathrooms. Downside (as we discovered when we got there) was the view was awful for a concert. The seats were far from the stage and way up below the nosebleed section. Also, hanging graphics blocked our view of the big video board. Finally David was on and it just went by so crazy fast in real life (meanwhile the family behind me was yelling ARE HIS EYES OPEN? over and over).
ReplyDeleteAfter the concert we went down to the signing area - took us so long to get there from our lofty seats that we were lucky to be in the second row standing at the rail. My fiance is much taller so I gave him my camera to get photos of the Idols especially DA. He industriously did that and when David came by I also got a photo I brought signed (and his hand brushed mine oooo :).
When we got home I was excited to see the photos! But the flash card was blank except for the 2 blurs of colored lights I took inside during the concert. Ends up my fiance didn't push the shutter down far enough. All in all it was a fun experience but I am VERY grateful for the Youtubes that let me see/hear what I missed!!
