David Archuleta, 'No Matter How Far': Exclusive Album PremiereIn 2010, "American Idol" alum David Archuleta announced he was leaving America and serving his Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints on a three-year mission in Chile. Although he isn't retuning until spring of 2014, ten Archuleta tracks have been assembled for a brand new album, "No Matter How Far," which fans can stream a week early on here exclusively on Billboard.Before leaving, Archuleta recorded a number of songs that were never placed on an official album -- some unfinished demos, others hard-to-find cuts that had only been shared on international releases. Thanks to his dedicated fanbase, many of these tracks were shared online, catching the eye of the label Entertainment One, who decided to compile them into a proper album: "No Matter How Far."The album's lead single, string-laced sentimental ballad "Don't Run Away," is one of two selections (along with "Heart Falls Out") that has not previously been released in any format. With help from British producers The Nexus (David Sneddon and James Bauer-Mein), the incomplete demo was polished into one of Archuleta's finest moments.Archuleta, who placed second in the 2007 season of "Idol" at 16, scored a massive Billboard hit with his single "Crush," which peaked at No. 2 in the Hot 100. Since then, he's recorded a Christmas album ("Christmas From the Heart"), a collection of Filipino standards ("Forevermore"), and has been a featured vocalist in the Mormon Tabernacle Choir's "Glad Christmas Tidings" album and 2011 PBS special.

For the sake of speculation, I'm going to say I bet the two songs Lady V co-wrote that will be on the album are "When Your Heart Falls Out," the song she mentioned a while back, and "Everything And More" from the Asian Tour Edition album. I'm thinking this because, per this tweet from the label, eOne Distribution:
It seems as though "Wait" will be on the album, and it only makes sense if the rest of the bonus tracks from the Asian Tour Edition will be on it, since David did say a while back he was working on releasing those songs in the US.

American Idol runner up and pop sensation David Archuleta is set to release his new studio album “No Matter How Far” on March 26, 2013.David is currently serving a two-year mission in South America for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. “No Matter How Far” features a mix of new recorded material and previously unreleased U.S. tracks. The first single, “Don’t Run Away”, produced by British music producers The Nexus (David Sneddon and James Bauer-Mein), will be serviced to the AC Radio format in February.David reached second place on the seventh season (2008) hit show American Idol as one of the youngest to perform on the show at age 16. He released his self-titled debut album the following year. Both the album and its lead single “Crush” peaked at #2 on the Billboard Top 200 and the Billboard Hot 100 charts, respectively. “Crush” went on to sell over 2 million downloads. David has since released the albums “Christmas From The Heart”, “The Other Side of Down”, and the covers album “BEGIN.”. He was the featured vocalist on the Mormon Tabernacle Choirs’ “Glad Christmas Tidings” album and PBS Special in 2011, and released “Forevermore” an album of Filipino standards in the Philippines in 2012.“No Matter How Far” will be released on Entertainment One.
