Everybody's welcome. The crowd for Mumford & Sons' afternoon set at Which Stage stretched back to the Centeroo marketplace and clogged the paths on the sides of the field. The massive audience prompted the group's Ben Lovett to note, "There are so many more of you than there were last year" when the band played an early Saturday show in one of the tents. By the end of Saturday's show, the stage was overflowing, too, as Union Station Dobro player Jerry Douglas and members of Old Crow Medicine Show joined Mumford & Sons for a rousing, sing-along version of Amazing Grace. The audience included a variety of celebrities, as well, among them actors Zach Braff and David Glover, porn star Ron Jeremy and former American Idol runner-up David Archuleta.

Back in Nashville again. Went to the CMT Awards last night which was really cool! A really laid back and comfortable vibe there with everyone. The show in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina was great! Meeting with writers and other meetings to get a feel for people and to make the music more meaningful

David Archuleta was a presenter at the Utah 2011 Entertainment & Choice Awards. During an interview with The Unlimited, David let slip plans to move to Nashville to work on a new project. Hmmm.

TU Host, Mateo speaks with American Idol (Season 7) star, David Archuleta, about his experience getting his music and voice into the “limelight”.  Archuleta says, “It was amazing that the opportunity presented itself the way that it did.  It allowed me to jump into the national music scene in a way I never thought I could.”

When asked what might be next in his career he went on to explain that he’s about to move to Nashville to start work on a new project that he’s really excited about.

So, what’s this I hear? According to ArchuletaFanScene.Com, David Archuleta is moving to Nashville to begin work on an exciting new project.

Now, this is not fully confirmed as yet. The news broke when The Unlimited interviewed David at A Night to Remember: Utah’s 2011 Entertainment & Choice Awards Show held at The Salt Palace in Utah.

Hopefully, David was quoted correctly. I will add an update once I learn more, so check back often.
I wonder what our young man has up his sleeve? Please don’t go all country on us David. We are “countryed-out” what with our country style Top 2 from this season of American Idol.

Not to worry Archuleta fans. Although everyone associates Nashville with country music, music from all genres are represented in the Nashville music scene. That city has a phenomenal music history and performers from all genres have recorded and performed in this exciting city.
