When did you become a fan of David?

As the new season of American Idol nears, so do the anniversaries of all of David's performances on the show. Believe it or not, it's been almost 5 years since David competed on the seventh season of American Idol, so in honor of that, we want to know...

When did you become a fan of David?

Was it sometime during American Idol? David's debut album? The summer tour with Demi Lovato? David's memoir Chords of Strength? The Other Side of Down? David's performance with the Mormon Tabernacle Choir? Or maybe even BEGIN.?

Personally, while I voted for David every week on American Idol since the Top 12 and absolutely loved his performance of "You're The Voice" during Top 10 week, I didn't really become a fan until the Season 7 finale. But I guess you could say I've been a fan pretty much since the "beginning" ;)
