American Idol finalist to perform in Blackfoot
BLACKFOOT — American Idol finalist David Archuleta will perform at the Blackfoot Performing Arts Center on Friday, Dec. 9, as part of his “My Kind of Day Christmas” tour.
Tickets to this performance go on sale Saturday, Oct. 8, at 10 a.m., and can be purchased by phone at 1-208-317-5508 or online at www.blackfootpac.com.
All seats are reserved. Cost per ticket is $27.50 plus applicable fees and can be mailed or picked up at the Blackfoot Performing Arts Center box office. The show will begin at 8 p.m. and doors to the theater will open at 7 p.m.
Archuleta is no stranger to Southeast Idaho. In March 2009 he performed at the Stephens Performing Arts Center in Pocatello and a venue in Idaho Falls. Tickets for each show sold out in a matter of minutes.
Archuleta, who is from Sandy, Utah, placed second to David Cook on the seventh season of American Idol in 2008. He has since recorded three studio albums and won numerous awards, including one for Breakout Artist at the 2009 Teen Choice Awards.
The upcoming Christmas tour will feature epic orchestral arrangements of both traditional holiday and familiar classics, as well as an assortment of David’s own, melodic pop favorites.

First Cook, then Archuleta coming to Santa Rosa
One David after another…
First we get to see American Idol Season 7 winner David Cook (Oct. 20th) at the Wells Fargo Center for the Performing Arts.
But that won’t be the end of our year-end AI performances.
On Dec. 13th Season 7 runnerup David Arthuleta will be back at the WFC (he was here a couple of years ago) for his “My Kind of Christmas Tour” performance.
He combines Christmas music with his own hit songs and if this tour stop is as good as the last time he was here it’ll be well worth the ticket price of $45 and $30.
