Barkada Choice Awards buzz

"American Idol" runner-up David Archuleta, meanwhile, was named as the Choice Teen Icon.

The young singer, through the microblogging site "Twitter", took time off to thank his Filipino fans for the overwhelming votes he received.

"Wow! Thank you so much Pinoy fans for the Barkada Choice Award for Teen Choice Icon!!! That is so neat!!! You guys are awesome haha," said Archuleta.
