David is honored tonight by the Massachusetts General Hospital

Tonight is The One Hundred gala event for Massachusetts General Hospital. David has been honored as one of the one hundred for his philanthropy and cancer charities he's been a part of. David won't be attending the event tonight, but he is still honored and considering one of the one hundred.

David is being honored by the Massachusetts General Hospital

Massachusetts General Hospital hosts an event called The One Hundred, where people who have helped out with cancer charities are nominated and they choose 100 nominees to honor at a special gala event. I've been in contact with one of the event coordinators and knew David was nominated, and earlier I received this email:

Despite what the email says, I've gotten confirmation from the assistant director, Raquel, who said that David has accepted the honor but will not be attending the event.
