David's in a Chinese magazine!

DAVID ARCHULETA auditioned for American Idol when he was only 16 years old. Yay, a lot of people like him. He’s called “Archie” by the media and since 2008, he’s released 3 studio albums. (He sang “Another Day in Paradise” and “Imagine” on AI.)

HE’S 20 THIS YEAR, YET HE’S SINGLE! O:
“Every time I see that I’m single, I ask myself ‘Why am I still single?!’ Seeing all my friends in a relationship, I can’t help but feel like a weirdo. (rofl, sorry i really don’t know what that word means.) In my song ‘My Kind Of Perfect’, there’s a line that goes ‘They say give it time and it will fall in line. But I keep wondering how and when and why I haven’t met you.’ Times like these, I’ll bump into people who tell me that they had only been on their first date when they were 21. Then I realise I’m not alone! I don’t think relationships should be based on what age you are, but instead time and patience.”

MY HAPPY MOTTO IS…
“During the making of TOSOD, I was – (omg, I have never seen that word in my life lol.). I didn’t want to find a bunch of songs that sounded good and put them in the album. So, I thought, what about make this album a little more ‘me’? Before I turn 20, I want to take this opportunity to let every teenager know that life is full of ups and downs, and you’ll never know what the future might bring. HAVE HOPE AND A GRATEFUL HEART. (lol I fail I srsly don’t know how to translate that.) SUNSHINE BOY ALSO GOT LOW TIDE TIMES. (HAHAHAHH direct translation.) But life’s full of little things that are worth being happy for. As long as you put your heart to notice these things, you will. (lol, that’s really bad translation.) From eating something nice to meeting someone…. each time I meet a stranger, I would say ‘HI! Where are you from?’ I’ll be able to get to know the person more. This too, is a kind of blessing. My life motto is: By small and simple things, great things come to pass!
